all of these; 'thoughts'/actions/happenings occured in a time span of 5seconds.
pass made. 'alright!, 50-50, mine!' sprint saw opponent sprinting too. keeping the eye on the ball reaching. 'MINE!' right leg lift up and swing 'ball cleared' relieved 'huh?' opponent's right foot, with studs showing coming to my right leg. pulled right leg. too late. took a deep breath i blinked. when the eyes open, i see the roof of dunearn secondary school and both of my legs higher than the head. felt a sharp pain. shouted. roar rather. Hee. fell with a thud.
yup. 5 seconds. all these occured on the pitch. the pain, felt like crying. i curl myself up, holding my right ankle. all i can here was my breathing, and this line 'what fucking tackle was that ey!!!!!!!!!'.. gathered strength. stand up. the guy who went for my ankle, his face. shocked. yessir, though ur stud marks were there. and the challenge was freakingly illegal and hard. i can still play. i limp for awhile and after a few minutes was ok.
but i still wondered why im ok. because the sharp pain, i felt it. after the game, took out my socks. there was this two rounds of tape, wrapped around my ankle which is useless, so i thought before the game started.
that two rounds, apparently, save my ankle. cool shit. oh and i do have other battles in the pitch, but tht was the most pain-fool one. haha let's just say sunday = left part of my head is swelling, a cut lip, and a very relieved right ankle. and yes, it's soccer.
